Mass of Christian burial for Mauro Perez Lopez, 76, of Cleburne will be conducted at 4:00 P.M., Monday, Nov. 16, 2015 in St. Joseph Catholic Church. Father Sergio Rizo will officiate. Burial will be in El Carmen, Mexico at a later date. Visitation will be from 10:00 A.M.-12:00 Noon, Sunday, Nov. 15, with Rosary at 11:00 A.M., Sunday.
Mauro Perez Lopez passed away Friday, Nov. 13, 2015 in Cleburne. He was born January 15, 1939 in China, NL. , Mexico to Guadalupe Perez and Maria Lopez. He married Dora Perez on July 11, 1965 in Monterrey, Mexico.
Mr. Lopez worked as a welder for GTI Thurman Transportation. He was a loving, husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and a friend to many. He was of the Catholic faith.
Survivors include his wife, Dora Perez of Cleburne; daughters, Sanjuana Perez and Ana Laura Perez, both of Mexico, and Olga Lydia Perez of Cleburne; son, Mauro P. Cavazos of Cleburne; daughter-in-law, Glorimar Asencio; son-in-law, German Avalos; grandchildren, Edgar Avalos, Alejandro Avalos, Mauricio Avalos, Israel Renta, and Kassandra Renta; sisters, Victoria Perez, Refugia Perez, Alfonsa Perez, and Romana Perez; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents.
