Funeral mass for Mauro G. Rodriguez, 89, of Johnson County, will be conducted at 10:00 A.M. Thursday, June 3, 2010 in the St. Joseph Catholic Church, Cleburne with Father Sergio Rizo officiating. Burial will follow in the Greenacres Memorial Park. Visitation will be held Wednesday from 6:00-8:00 P.M. with Rosary at 7:00 P.M. Mr. Rodriguez passed away Monday, May 31, 2010 in Fort Worth. He was born on October 5, 1920 in C.D. Acuna, Mexico to Regino and Seledina Gamez Rodriguez. Mauro was of the Catholic faith and worked as a bricklayer for many years. He was a unique and old fashioned man with strong beliefs. Mauro enjoyed his visits back to Mexico, making the trip as often as he could. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, San Juana Rodriguez in 1998; daughters, Sabina Rodriguez and Romelia Moreno; and several brothers and sisters.

Survivors include his children and their spouses, Guadalupe and Luis Garcia, Federico Rodriguez, Rosa and Isidro Garcia, Dora Vasquez, Sylvia Rodriguez, Mauro Jr.and Sandra Rodriguez, Jose Enoe and Audelia Rodriguez, Johnny and Eloise Rodriguez, Miguel and Velma Rodriguez, and Maria Rodriguez; 43 grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren; siblings, Nicholas, Maria, Ursula and Rogelio; numerous nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.
