Max Montgomery

Service for Max Waymon Montgomery, 67, of Cleburne will be conducted at 10:00 A.M., Tuesday, November 14, 2023, at Bethel Temple Assemble of God. Burial will follow at Rosehill Cemetery in Cleburne. Visitation will be 6-8:00 P.M., Monday, November 13, 2023, at the funeral home.

Max passed away Wednesday, November 8, 2023 in Fort Worth. He was born April 15, 1956, in Cleburne to Billy Gene and Edith Aileen (Phillips) Montgomery. Max married D’Juana Ann Mullins on September 10, 1977 in Woodville, Texas.

Max was the owner of Montgomery Mechanical and served his community for over 42 years. He was an avid fan of the Texas Rangers, Dallas Cowboys, and Kansas City Chiefs. Max loved his church and working with the Royal Rangers.
He enjoyed camping and Bluegrass Festivals. Max loved and took care of his family as well as anyone who needed a helping hand.

Max is survived by his wife, D’Juana Montgomery; daughter, Elizabeth Davis and husband Scott; son, Daniel Montgomery and wife, Amanda; siblings, Jeanie Stanfield and husband Mark and Ann Montgomery; grandchildren, Addison, Ragan, Kenedie, Avery, and Lincoln.
