Melba Bullard

Service for Melba Bullard, 82, of Cleburne will be conducted at 10:00 A.M., Wednesday, April 10, 2019 in the Calvary Baptist Church. Reverend Charles Payne, Reverend Brooks Monk and Reverend Donnie Williams will officiate. Burial will follow in Greenacres Memorial Park. Visitation will be 6:00 – 8:00 P.M., Tuesday at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Steven Wallace, Wade Wallace, Jimmy Ned Wallace, Carrol Baker, Mike Baker, Korry Kilgo and Marty Wallace

Melba Bullard passed away Sunday, April 7, 2019 in Cleburne. She was born on January 21, 1937 in Grandview, to Joe and Mildred (Wallace) Marr. Melba married James Richard Bullard on July 29, 1955 in Cleburne. She was a clerk at Piggly Wiggly for 18 years and an active member of Calvary Baptist Church.

Melba is survived by her husband, James “Sonny” Bullard of Cleburne; children, Tim Bullard and wife Janis of Canton, Kim Whiston of Quincey, Illinois; grandchildren, her adored grandson Dustin Bullard of Cleburne, Joshua Holmes and wife Emilia of Euless, Jacob Holmes and wife Miranda of Frisco, J.R. Bullard of Spartanburg, South Carolina; 5 great grandchildren; 1 great great grandson; sister, Bennie Payne of Dallas and numerous nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents and brother Herbert Marr.
