Melba Forsythe

Melba Fay Forsythe passed away Thursday, July 10, at Meadowbrook Nursing Home in Van Alstyne, Texas. She was born June 29, 1921 in Cleburne to Frank and Estelee Meek Scott. She married Samuel C. Forsythe on December 25, 1940 in Cleburne.
Mrs. Forsythe was a homemaker and a member of Wesley Memorial United Methodist Church.
Melba Forsythe is survived by her son, Gary Forsythe (Debbie) of Van Alstyne, TX; 9 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and special friends, Mattie Fern Smith and Sue Jane Starnes of Cleburne. She was preceded in death by her husband, Samuel; son, Randy Wayne Forsythe; her parents, Frank and Estelee Scott and four sisters.
