Melba Williams

Graveside Services for Melba Jennette Williams, 55, of Cleburne will be conducted at 10:00 a.m. Monday, July 6, 2009 in Rosehill Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Heath Polson, Derrell Jimmerson, Johnny Stout, Kerry Doty, Mark Moreno and Les Doty. Visitation will be Sunday, July 5, from 6-8 p.m.

Melba Williams passed away Tuesday, June 30, 2009 in Cleburne. She was born November 12, 1953 in Anniston, Alabama to L.P. and Jean Weathers Hamm. She married John Dell Williams on July 31, 1971 in Hillsboro.

Mrs. Williams was a homemaker and of the Pentacostal faith.

Melba Jennette Williams is survived by her husband, John Dell Williams; son, Jason David Williams and wife Stephanie, of Alvarado; daughter, Heather Lin Downing, of Rifle, Co.; sisters, Brenda Marino of Peoria, Tx., Phyllis Carrol and Gloria Shadwick, of Hillsboro; grandchildren, Shaina and Bradley Downing and a host of other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her infant son, Phillip Williams.
