Mell Brown

Graveside services for Mell Marie Brown, 98, of Cleburne will be held at 10:00 AM Tuesday, June 28, 2005 at Rose Hill Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers will be Ronald Robinson, Brooks Robinson, Kyle Robinson, Tyler Robinson, Cary Strohmeyer, Wayne Evans and Christopher Cochran.

Visitation will be held from 6-8 PM Monday at Cleburne's Crosier-Pearson-Mayfield Funeral Home.

Mrs. Brown, a homemaker, passed away on Sunday, June 26, 2005 in Cleburne. She was born in Athens, Texas, November 22, 1908, the daughter of W.R. and Ora Lee Nowell Swinney. She married Albert Brown, October 20, 1928. He preceded her in death in 1993.

She is survived by one daughter, Jackie Robinson and husband, Joe, of Cleburne and one son, Jerry Brown and wife, Bamma, also of Cleburne. Three grandchildren, Ronald Robinson and wife, Karen, Debbie Evans and husband, Wayne and Donna Strohmeyer and husband Cary; great-grandchildren, Christopher, Brooks, Kyle, Tyler, Laura, Bamma Lee and Gracie and one great-great-grandchild, Kendyl Cochran.

Memorials may be made to a Charity of Choice.
