Michael Johnson

Service for Michael Kent Johnson, 62, of Burleson will be conducted at 10:00 A.M., Friday, March 9, 2018 in the Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Chapel. The Reverend Kevin Bentley will officiate. Burial will be in Watts Chapel Cemetery, near Sand Flat. Pallbearers will be Cody Akridge, Rick Holden, Bob McAlister, Robyn Vaughn, Farris Vaughn and Kevin Kennemer. Honorary pallbearers will be Jimmy Cavasos and Curt Dixon.
Visitation will be from 6-8:00 P.M., Thursday, at the funeral home.
Michael Kent Johnson passed away Wednesday, March 7, 2018 in Ft. Worth. He was born April 4, 1955 in Cleburne to O’Neal and Almeda Rives Johnson. He married Jan McGowan on May 18, 1984 in Cleburne.
Mr. Johnson was a carman with BNSF Railroad, retiring with 30 years of service. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Burleson.
Survivors include his beloved wife of 33 years, Jan Johnson of Burleson; three children, Aaron Johnson of Austin, Ashley Swinney and husband Ricky of Pecos and Aerial Johnson of Ft. Worth; sister, Cynthia Cox and husband George of Cleburne; and six grandchildren, Adrian, Adyn, Azlyn, Avery, Aryah and Aubree Journie. He was preceded in death by his parents.
