Michael Roper

A memorial service for Michael Roper, 54, of Alvarado, will be conducted at 11:00 AM on Monday, July 16, 2012 at the New Life Church of Christ, Cleburne, Texas. Mr. Darryl Hightower will officiate.
Michael Roper passed away on Thursday, July 12, 2012 in Alvarado. He was born September 25, 1957 in Bartlesville, Oklahoma to Vernon and Janice Ramsey Roper. He married Carol Sue Dobbins on November 9, 2000 in Alvarado.
Mr. Roper was a contractor in the construction industry and was of the Church of Christ faith.
He is survived by his wife, Carol Sue Roper; mother, Janice Hadley and father, Vernon Roper; children, Brian Michael Roper, Christopher Hayes Roper and Ashley Roper; siblings, Vernetta Tyree, Russell Roper and Gayla Williams; grandchildren, Hailey Barton, Zane Ellis and Dusty Ellis. He was preceded in death by his step-father, Doil Hadley.
