Graveside service for Mickey "Mike" Martin Anderson, 61, of Grandview will be conducted at 10:00 A.M., Thursday, Sept. 13, 2012 in Rosehill Cemetery. Deacon Ronnie Cook will officiate. Visitation will be from 6-8:00 P.M., Wednesday, at the funeral home.

Mr. Anderson passed away Monday, Sept. 10, 2012 at his home in Grandview, surrounded by loved ones. He was born May 11, 1951 in Cleburne to Martin and Lora Lilly Stout Anderson. He married Connie Sue Cook on June 15, 1974 in Ft. Worth.

Mike was a machinist with 23 years service at Conveyors Inc. He enjoyed fishing with his son and spending time in the garden teaching his granddaughter, Kenna, about wildlife. He was a hard worker and a master craftsman, building his own home. He was known as a jokester with a dry sense of humor. His devotion to his family and strong ethics will be missed greatly by all who knew and loved him.

Survivors include his wife of 38 years, Connie Anderson of Grandview; son, Michael "Marty" Anderson and wife, Kristin and granddaughter, Makenna, his "baby girl", all of Burleson; brother, Gerald Anderson and wife, Cathie of Cleburne; sister, Brenda Jones of Joshua; brothers-in-law, Ronnie Cook and wife, Krisha of Ft. Worth and Kurt Berryman and wife, Carolyn of Nocona; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents.
