Mike Martinez

Services for Mike Martinez, 76, of Cleburne, will be conducted at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, September 4, 2008 at St. Joseph Catholic Church. Father Sergio Rizo will officiate. Burial will be in Rosehill Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Rick Troup, Jesse Solis, David Hinojosa, Cosme Solis, Joe Rios, Jr. and Jimmy Rios. Honorary pallbearers will be David Hinojosa, Jr. Anthony Rodriquez, JC Rodriquez, Lupe Solis, Jr., Jamie Estrada and Toby Arellano.

Mike Martinez passed away Monday, September, 1, 2008 in Ft. Worth. He was born October 18, 1931 in Grandview, TX to Felipe and ManeulaRodgers Martinez. He married Delphina Solis on October 29, 1955 in Hillsboro.

Mr. Martinez was a supervisor for a furniture manufacturer and a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church.

Mike Martinez is survived by his wife of 53 years, Delphina Martinez; daughters, Frances Macias and husband, Hector of Ft. Worth, Marjorie Kirksey of Cleburne and Janie Martinez of Ft. Worth; grandchildren, Mike, Elisa, Kristie Macias; Bobby, Brittany, Andrea Kirksey and Jacob Jenkins; sisters, Margaret Rubio and Lucy Rios and several family members. He was preceded in death by his parents, Felipe and Maneula Martinez; brother, George Martinez and sister, Julia Gaona.
