Mildred Matthews

Services for Mildred "Mittie" Matthews, 72, of Joshua, will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Friday, October 6, 2006 at Faith Temple Church, 1029 N. Anglin, Cleburne, TX. Pastor Carl Roye will officiate. Burial will be in Baker-Lain Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Paul Jacob Matthews, Cole Pearson Matthews, Blair Sims, Creg Sims, Creg Sims, Jr. and Eric Sims.
Mildred "Mittie" Matthews passed away Monday, October 2, 2006 in Ft. Worth. She was born September 29, 1934 in Stamford, Tx to Harry and Stella Fultz Stogner. She married Ronnie Matthews on July 10, 2002.
Mrs. Matthews was a nurse and a member of New Heart Family Worship Center.
Mildred "Mittie" Matthews is survived by her husband of 2 years, Ronnie Dale Matthews of Joshua; three sons, Creg Sims & wife Teresa of Granbury, Gene Sims and Eric Sims both of Wichita Falls,TX and Paul Jacob Matthews and wife Allie of Oklahoma City,OK; sister, Audine Bosher of Joshua; brother-in-law, Irving Sanders;grandchildren, Creg Sims, Jr., Leigh Anne Sims, Blair Sims, Alisha Sims, Heather Atkinson, Meleaah Sims, Lacey Sims, Patricia Basset, Brent Sims, and Machelle Matthews; 10great-grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, church family and friends. She was preceded in death by her sister, Leah Ruth Sanders.
