Services for Mildred LaVerne Wall, 72, of Blum, will be conducted at 10:00 a.m. Friday, June 13, 2008 in the Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Chapel. Burial will be in Whitney Memorial Cemetery at 12:30

Mildred Wall passed away Saturday, June 7, 2008 in Arlington, TX. She was born June 6, 1936 in Hamilton County, TX to Houston and Delma Gravitt Herring. She married Norman M. Wall on May 1, 1959.

Mrs. Wall worked as a manager for Wal-Mart and was of the Protestant faith.

Mildred Wall is survived by her husband, Norman M. Wall of Blum; daughters, Stacie York and husband Russell of Arlington and Sandi Long of Calimesa, CA; sons, Dr. Norman Wall III of Calistoga, CA and Thomas Wall of Garland, TX; daughter-in-law Jo Ann Wall of Telil, Iraq; twenty grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; brother Willie "Billy Joe" Herring and wife Linda of Arlington and sister-in-law Kelly Herring of Blum. She was preceded in death by her parents, Houston and Delma Herring; son Stephen Wall and two brothers, Raby Herring and Travis Herring.
