Graveside services for Minnie Jo Evans, 90, of Cleburne, will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, May 19, 2007 in the Longbranch Cemetery in Eastland County, TX. Reverend Charles E. Payne will officiate.
Minnie Jo Evans passed away Wednesday, May 16, 2007 in Decatur, Tx. She was born January 9, 1917 in Eastland, TX to Walter and Fay Earp Morgan. She married Cecil Ray Evans on June 17, 1944 in Ft. Worth, TX.
Mrs. Evans fomerly worked at Carswell Air Force base as a teller in the bank and in the Officer's Club. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church and the Order of Eastern Star. She had a deep love for her family.
Minnie Jo Evans is survived by her daughters, Cathi Neal of Decatur, Lanell Adams and husband Tommy of Hillsboro; daughter-in-law, Patricia Milford of Salado and; grandchildren, Vicki, Brenda, Jayna, LouAnn, Gaye, Stephanie, Jeri, Wesley, Dan, Cary, Georganna, Terri, John, Clint, Mistie, Jonathan and Leah; and a number of great-granchildren, nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ray Evans; daughters, Jo Frances Box and Sandra Adams; sons, Thomas Milford, Cledith Ray Evans and grandson, Jeff Milford.
