Mitizi Green

Graveside services for Mitzi Bridger Green, 59, homemaker of Cleburne, will be conducted at 2:00 P.M. Monday, November 5, 2012 in the Rosehill Cemetery. Rev. Charles E. Payne will officiate. Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 6:00-8:00 P.M. on Sunday.

Mrs. Green passed away Wednesday, October 31, 2012 in Cleburne. She was born to Galen and Edna Higginbotham Bridger on August 27, 1953 on Clark AFB in the Philippines. She married Jack Green on May 2, 1983 in Cleburne. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church. Mitzi was a devoted Christian, spending countless hours reading her Bible, in church, and watching evangelists on television. She enjoyed sewing and watching movies. Her fun loving nature and outgoing spirit will be missed greatly by all who knew and loved her. She was preceded in death by her mother, Edna Higginbotham Pickrell and brother, Jack Hargis.

Survivors include her husband of 29 years, Jack Green; father, Galen Bridger and wife, Irene; sons, Todd Green and wife, Dawn and Rick Green and wife, Shelley; daughter, Angie McCue and husband, John; 10 grandchildren, Lesley, Sarah, Justin, Jacob, Lauren, Lucas, Shaun, Zachary, Johnathan, and Kaitlyn; 1 great grandchild on the way; brother, Bobby Hargis and wife, Ruth; several nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.
