Modenia McMillan

Services for Modenia McMillan, 82 of Blum will be conducted at 2:00 P.M., Tuesday, June 29, 2010 in the First Baptist Church of Blum. Dr. Sammy Simmons and Pastor Dave Towns will officiate. Burial will be in the Blum Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6-8 P.M., Monday, at the funeral home. Mrs. McMillan passed away Saturday, June 26, 2010 in Ft. Worth. She was born Dec. 14, 1927 in Bosque County to Jack and Rosie Bankston Kyle. She married Alfred 'Mac" McMillan on Feb. 7, 1947 in Ft. Worth. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Blum and she worked as the Tax Assessor Collector for the Joshua ISD, retiring in 1992.
Survivors include her daughter, Barbara West of Cleburne; son, William "Butch" McMillan of Blum; two grandchildren, Kevin Phillips and Ashley McMillan; three great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Mrs. McMillan was preceded in death by her husband Alfred "Mac"McMillan on June 24, 2005, one brother and one sister.
