Muriel Wright

Service for Muriel Wright, 88, of Cleburne, will be conducted at 10:00 A.M. Wednesday, April 20, 2011 in the Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Chapel. Dr. Daniel E. Crosby will officiate. Burial will follow in the Rosehill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6-8 P.M. Tuesday.

Mrs. Wright went to be with the Lord on Saturday, April 16, 2011 in Cleburne. She was born June 14, 1922 in Boswell, Oklahoma to Labin Gilbert and Frances Mae Hodge Thomas. She married Keith W. Wright on April 7, 1946 in Ardmore, Oklahoma.

Mrs. Wright was a retired secretary and bookkeeper for Walls Industries and a member of the First Baptist Church in Cleburne for 58 years.

Survivors include her two sons, Dr. Dennis Allen Wright and wife Marlene of Cleburne and Michael Gordon Wright and wife, Edith of Rockwall; grandchildren, Rachel Marverick "Johnson", Philip Wright, Brittain Wright, and Reagan Wright; six great grandchildren; and one brother, Albert Thomas of Boswell, Oklahoma. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Keith in 2002; two brothers; two sisters; and one half brother.
