Myra Palermo

Service for Myra Clair Bertram Palermo, 88, of Cleburne will be conducted at 10:30 A.M., Tuesday, June 4, 2019 at St. Joseph Catholic Church. Father Sergio Rizo will officiate. Burial will follow in Greenacres Memorial Park. Visitation will be 6-7:00 P.M. Monday and Rosary will be at 7:00 P.M. Monday at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be James Kile, Jacob Kile, Chris Hedges, Austin Tarver, Alec Tarver and Kevin Tarver. Honorary Pallbearers will be Young Hedges, Andrew Palermo and Henry Tamacas.

Myra Clair Bertram Palermo passed away Thursday, May 30, 2019 in Cleburne. She was born May 27, 1931 in New Orleans, LA. to Karl and Marie Doris (Monvinson) Bertram. Myra married Theodore Joseph Palermo Sr. on July 12, 1952 in New Orleans, LA.. He preceded her in death on January 19, 2002.
Myra was an avid crafter, loved sewing and cooking for her family. She was a gifted storyteller and loved to read and always a loving teacher of children.

Myra is survived by her son, Theodore Joseph Palermo Jr. and wife Mary Beth of Pineville, LA.; daughter,s Joell Clair Hedges of Houston, Constance Louise Kile and husband Jimmy of Stonewall, LA., Elizabeth Ann Palermo-Tarver and husband Ray Tarver of Cleburne; sisters, Carolyn Tilley of Mandville, LA. and Ruby Ann Bertram-Harker of Dallas; 11 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild.

Myra is also preceded in death by her parents.
