Services for Myrtis Owens Vaughan, 73, of Cleburne, will be conducted2:00 P.M., Saturday, February 1, 2020 in the Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Chapel. Burial will be in Rosehill Cemetery. Visitation is scheduled for Friday, January 31, from 6:00-8:00 P.M.
Mrs. Vaughan passed away Tuesday, January 28, 2020 in Cleburne. She was born May 19, 1946 in Cleburne to Leonard and Nannie (Jones) Owens. Myrtis married Bobby Vaughan in Everman on November 16, 1964. She and Bob owned Bob’s Auto Supply for 18 years.
She was a loving wife, mother, sister and grandmother. She was a Christian woman who never knew a stranger. Myrtis was a friend to many.
Survivors include her husband, Bob Vaughan; daughters, Darla Vaughan and husband Chad Davis and Sarah Correa and husband Bethuel; son, Travis Vaughan and wife Rachel; grandchildren, Olivia Davis, Owen Davis, Jesse Correa, Melanie Correa, Samuel Vaughan and Audrey Vaughan; sisters, Janie Zook and husband Dennis, and Anita Jones and husband Thomas; brothers, Aubrey Owens and wife Pat, and Sam Owens; as well as numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Preceded her in death were her parents; son, Richard Wayne Vaughan; and brothers, Travis Owens, Jackie Owens, and Leonard Owens, Jr.
