Myrtle Dossey

Kingwood, Funeral services for Myrtle A. Dossey, 86, of Kingwood, Texas, will be held at 1:00 P.M. Saturday, February 19, 2005, at Cleburne's Crosier-Pearson-Mayfield Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Kenneth Coleman officiating. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery.

Visitation will be held from 6-8 PM, Friday, at Crosier-Pearson-Mayfield.

Myrtle A. Dossey, a retired educator, passed away on Tuesday, February 15, 2005 in a nursing home in Humble, Texas. She was born in Henrietta, Texas, April 5, 1918. She married Elmer Dossey, July 13, 1940, in Mexia, Texas. He preceded her in death January 21, 2005. She was also preceded in death by two sisters and three brothers.

Mrs. Dossey is survived by three sons, Elmer Lynn Dossey and wife, Tami, of The Colony; Lee Dossey and wife, Beauton, of Kingwood and Byron Dossey and wife, Marsha, of Arcadia, Oklahoma; six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
