Nancy Atwood

Service for Nancy Lucille Atwood, 75, of Cleburne, will be conducted at 10:00 A.M. Thursday, August 30, 2018 in the Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Chapel. Pastor Brian Jacobs will officiate. Burial will be in Rosehill Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday August 29, 2018 at the funeral home.

Nancy Lucille Atwood passed away on Tuesday, August 28, 2018 in Fort Worth. She was born March 28, 1943 in Fort Worth to Pearl and Mildred (Roberts) Ellis. She married James Charles Atwood on March 02, 1962 in Cleburne.

Mrs. Atwood was a homemaker and a member of the Metroplex Family Church in Burleson.

Nancy is survived by her husband of 56 years, James Atwood of Cleburne; three daughters Shelley Bennet and husband Russell of Fort Worth, Laura Atwood and Robert Singletary of Joshua and Amy Moore and husband Robert of Fort Worth; brother Lewis Ellis and wife Wanda of Fort Worth; six grandchildren Bryan, Justin, James, Ashley, Sarah and Robby; 10 great-grandchildren Eden, Elena, Bryson, Grayson, Mason, Brenton, Emma, Jessa, Ethan and Ella and a host of other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents.
