Graveside services for Nancy Ruth Breland, 73, of Joshua, will be conducted at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, June 18, 2009 in Caddo Cememtery.

Nancy Ruth Breland passed away Saturday, June 13, 2009 in Joshua. She was born November 4, 1935 in Guthrie, OK to Edward Louis and Mary Elosie Kroeger Maddox. She married Donald Martin Breland.

Mrs. Breland was a bookkeeper for the Texas Youth Commission.

Nancy Breland is survived by her two daughters, Rebecca Funk of Ft. Worth and Cynthia Shipley and husband, Bill of Joshua; four sons, Anthony Carpentiere and wife, Becky of Ft. Worth, Edward Carpentiere and wife, Vickie of Joshua, Kenneth Carpentiere and wife, Lelah of Ft. Worth and Richard Carpentiere of Joshua; one sister, Shirley Padillia of California; nineteen grandchildren and twenty-four great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Donald Breland on February 2, 1995.
