Nancy "Granny" Schroyer

Service for Nancy “Granny" Schroyer, 86, of Cleburne, will be conducted at 2:00 P.M., Saturday, July 6, 2024 in the Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Chapel. Burial will follow in Prices Chapel Cemetery. Visitation will be 6-8:00 P.M., Friday, July 5, 2024 at the funeral home.

 Nancy passed away Friday, June 28, 2024 in Granbury. She was born March 19, 1938 in Hamilton, Texas to Marcus Samuel and Ola Beatrice (Barnette) Neal. Nancy married Herman Arnie Schroyer on August 26, 1955. Nancy enjoyed quilting, tending to her vegetable garden and cooking. She loved traveling and going to Bluegrass Music Festivals. Nancy or “Granny” as she demanded to be called was always ready to go shopping. 

 Nancy is survived by daughters, Vicki Green-McNatt (David), LaDonna Jenkins (Randy); grandchildren, Stephanie Wilson (Todd), Cortnie Blanchette (Jake), David Green, Randi Lee Jenkins, Jessica Alguire (Todd), Justin Schroyer (Jenna); 15 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great-grandchildren; sister, Clota Cates and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.

 Nancy is preceded in death by her parents; husband H.A. “Danny” Schroyer; daughter Debbi Mathis; son-in-law, Glen Green; brothers, Loren “Button” and Billy; sisters, Wilma, Myrna, Loyce, Ann and Janelle and great-great-grandson, Keagen
