Nancy MacLeod

Born February 24, 1956, Nancy's contagious smile, laughter and kind spirit were lost to us on January 20, 2007, when cancer took her life. Her family thanks the loving caretakers and hospice workers who comforted her and eased her last days.

Cleburne was her home until the last few years when she lived in Hillsboro. She will be remembered for her creativity and her sense of humor. Nancy loved children, and her nieces and nephews were always a special source of happiness.

She is survived by her sister, Kathy Gaither of Albuquerque, and by three brothers, Kevin Nelms and Kim Hardin of Ft. Worth, and Jerry Hardin of Phuket, Thailand. A memorial service will be held at the Church of the Holy Comforter in Cleburne on Saturday, January 27 at 2 PM. Nancy will rest at the Rose Hill Park Cemetery in Cleburne with her sister Missy and her parents JoAnn and Virgil Hardin. In lieu of flowers the family asks that you consider a donation to a local hospice or to Bridgeway Health Services Hospice of Hillsboro, Texas.
