Nancy Morgan Green

Service for Nancy Morgan Green, 86, of Cleburne, will be conducted at 2:00 P.M., Wednesday, November 22, 2023, in the Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Chapel. Burial will follow in Rosehill Cemetery. Visitation will be 5:00-7:00 P.M., Tuesday, November 21, 2023, at the funeral home.

Nancy passed away Friday, November 10, 2023, in Sulphur Springs. She was born October 23, 1937, in Baytown to Luther Jerome and Ida Viola (Dod) Choate. Nancy married Charles M. Morgan, Jr., on July 29, 1967 in Baytown and later married Eulis Calvin Green on August 29, 2002 in Lufkin. She was of the Methodist faith. Nancy worked as a Teacher for Mansfield I.S.D. with over 28 years of service. She loved teaching, fishing and going camping. Nancy was a loving wife and mother. She will be greatly missed by all that knew her.

She is survived by her daughter, Ida Sessums and husband, Jason; grandchildren, James Sessums, II, Connor Sessums, Zachary Sessums, and Margrett Sessums; brother-in-law, Joe Rouse; fifteen nieces and nephews; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Nancy was preceded in death by her parents; 1st husband, Charles M. Morgan, Jr.; 2nd husband, Eulis C. Green; brothers, Walter Lewis Choate and wife, Lavora, Kirby Choate and wife, Janni, Luther James Choate and wife, Lois; and sister, Virginia Gaye Rouse.
