Service for Naomi Thompson, 78, of Cleburne will be conducted at 10:00 A.M., Monday, Feb. 8, 2016 in Faith Temple Church of Cleburne. Reverend Weldon Coble will officiate. Burial will be in Midway Cemetery in Johnson County. Pallbearers will Jeremy Hill, Jayson Schneider, Mike Hill, Jr., Ronnie Schultz, Daniel Hill, and Alfred Stephenson. Honorary pallbearer will be Ethan Hill.
Visitation will be from 2-4:00 P.M. Sunday, at the funeral home.
Naomi Thompson passed away Friday, Feb. 5, 2016 in Cleburne. She was born Aug. 13, 1937 in Cleburne to Richard Max and Hattie Viola Smith Andreas. She married Carl Thompson on Feb. 21, 1958 in Godley.
Mrs. Thompson was a seamstress and a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, and a friend to many. She was a member of Faith Temple Church of Cleburne.
Survivors include her husband, Carl Thompson of Cleburne; children, Vernon and Pam Hill of Grand Prairie, Michael Hill of Ft. Worth, Dian Hill of Stockton, CA, Dorothy and Bill Wells of Madisonville, Raymond and Portia Thompson of Vidor, Calvin and Ester Thompson of Port Arthur, and Marcie Schneider of Maypearl; 10 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; brothers, Julius Andreas of Sherman and Ross Andreas of Ft. Worth; sisters, Maxine Birdwell of Cleburne and Anna Goodwin of New London; numerous nieces and nephews, and a host of other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and three brothers.
