Narvel Hudson

Graveside service for Narvel “Nob” Hudson, 97, of Weatherford, formerly of Cleburne, will be conducted at 2:00 P.M., Thursday, April 14, 2022, in Rosehill Cemetery. Reverend Don Worlow and Reverend Phillip Hudson will officiate. Visitation will be 6-8:00 P.M., Wednesday, April 13, 2022, at the funeral home. Honorary pallbearers will be Wayne Hudson, Billy Hudson, Mike Osborne, Donnie Hudson, Daniel Hudson, and David Wood.

Narvel passed away Saturday, April 9, 2022, in Weatherford. He was born June 3, 1924, in Eulogy, Texas to Elmer and Minnie Powell Hudson. Narvel married Mary Elloie Johnson on August 29, 1942, in Cleburne. He was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Cleburne, and a 50-year Member of the Cleburne Masonic Lodge #315. He was self-employed as a Car Salesman with over 38 years in the business.

Narvel is survived by his daughter-in-law, Ferrellyn Hudson of Weatherford; grandchild, Tracey Jackson and spouse, Tom of Weatherford; great-grandchildren, Taylor Hicks and spouse, Hunter of Weatherford, Tanner Henry of Springtown; great-great-grandchildren, Addy Hicks, and Hudsyn Rae Hicks; along with numerous nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Mary Elloie Hudson who passed in 2003; son, Ronny Hudson who passed in 2009; brothers, Alvin Earl Hudson, Johnny Hudson, Marion Elmer Hudson, and Olin Willie Hudson; sisters, Jane Porter, Ella Osborne, Alice Worlow, and Pearl Hudson.
