Natalio DeLeon Ortiz, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend, peacefully passed away on December 31, 2024, in Cleburne, Texas, at the age of 76. Born on January 20, 1948, in Mexico, Natalio's life was marked by a dedication to his family and a commitment to his community.
Natalio De Leon Ortiz was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather who lived a life full of love, tradition, and dedication to his family. Married to his teenage sweetheart, María Ortiz, for an extraordinary 58 years, Natalio built a life centered on commitment and enduring affection. Together, they created a loving home and raised a family that became his greatest pride and joy.
Natalio had a passion for rooster fighting, a pastime that connected him deeply to his heritage. However, his true legacy lies in the love and values he instilled in his family. Known for his strength, kindness, and unwavering devotion, Natalio touched the lives of everyone he encountered, especially those closest to him. He is survived by his beloved wife, María, and their children: Pancho Ortiz and wife Michelle, Blanca Villasana and husband Marcelo, Erasmo Ortiz and wife Candy, Joel Ortiz and wife Genie, Juanita Montes and husband Cesar, Rudy Ortiz and wife Sandra, Armando Ortiz, Ashley Reynaga, Sergio Ortiz, Justin Ortiz, Brian Ortiz and Fidi Ortiz. He is also survived by his 21 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren, each of whom brought immense joy to his life. Natalio was preceded in death by his beloved family members, including his son, Mike, his parents Benito and Consuelo, as well as; Juan, Ligo, Zacarias, Catarino, Estela, Fil, and Jessiah Ortiz. Their memories remained close to his heart throughout his life, and their bond shaped the loving, resilient man he became. Natalio's legacy lives on in the love he shared, the traditions he upheld, and the values he instilled in those he cherished most.
Visitation will be held on Friday, January 3, 2025, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Iglesia Bautista Nuevo Amanecer, located at 1723 Raylene Drive, Cleburne, Texas. A funeral service to honor Natalio's life will take place Saturday, January 4, 2025, at 11:00 AM, also at the Iglesia Bautista Nuevo Amanecer.
Natalio DeLeon Ortiz will be remembered for his warm heart, generous spirit, and unwavering love for his family. His presence will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
