Nelda Borden

Service for Nelda Ann Taylor Borden, 77, of Cleburne, will be conducted at 2:00 P.M., Wednesday, February 10, 2021 in the Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Chapel. Burial will follow in Rosehill Cemetery in Cleburne. Visitation will be 6-8:00 P.M., Tuesday, February 9, 2021 at the funeral home.

Nelda passed away Saturday, February 6, 2021 in Cleburne. She was born January 1, 1944 in Cleburne to James Curtis and Stella Irene (Stewart) Taylor. Nelda married Wilson Borden on June 9, 1961 in Fort Worth. She was a counselor for the Texas Workforce Commission and a member of Calvary Baptist Church of Cleburne. Nelda was an exceptional seamstress, loved the Dallas Cowboys and Dallas Mavericks. She loved gospel music, Elvis, reading and her dolls but most of all Nelda loved her family.

Nelda is survived by her husband, Wilson Borden of Cleburne; children, Jill Veal and husband Curly of Cleburne, Alan Borden and wife Beth of Joshua, Janna Sims of Cleburne, Cory Borden and wife Georgina of Cleburne; sister, Nadine Marshall and husband Roger of Edgecliff; grandchildren, Jace Borden, Mikah Borden, Tessa Goff, Logan Sims, Kylee Sims, Abigail Veal, Isabelle Veal, Trinity Borden; great-grandchildren, Brantley Goff and Maylee Goff.
