Nellie Andreas

On Wednesday, November 21, 2007, Our Heavenly Father opened His arms and called home our beloved Nellie "Honey Nell" Andreas.

Services for Nellie "Honey Nell" Andreas, 70, of Sherman, will be conducted at 2:00 P.M. Sunday, November 25, 2007 at Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Chapel. Rev. George Townley will officiate. Burial will be in Midway Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Timothy Wigley, Keith Wigley, J.R. Andreas, Sam Bullard, Brian Thornton and Keith Moore.

Mrs. Andreas was born April 7, 1937 in Blum, Texas to Ewell T. and Gladys Vera Briscoe Coburn. She married Julius Andreas July 14, 1956 in Cleburne.

Mrs. Andreas was a homemaker and a member of Ida Baptist Church.

Blessed all the days of her life with her were her husband, Julius Andreas; son, Max Andreas; daughters Marsha Wigley and husband, Keith, Joyce Andreas, all of Sherman, Wanda Portnoy, of Iowa and Stephanie Cawvey and husband, Charley also of Sherman; ten grandchildren, Kevin, Keith, Alesha, Charity, Christopher, Brian, Timothy, Amber, Asia and J.R.; four great-grandchildren, Mikayla, Caleb, Aiden and Presley; three sisters, Mary, Wilma and Maxine; brother, J.T. and a number of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by one son, Marty Andreas, May 1, 2004.
