Nellie Mauldin

Nellie Colleen Mauldin, 65, of Weatherford passed away Tuesday, October 12, 2021, in Fort Worth.

Nellie was born February 13, 1956, in Clearwater Pinellas, Florida to Rueben and Ruth Byrd. Nellie was of the Baptist faith. She had a personal relationship with the Lord that followed her throughout her life. Nellie worked as a Walmart Associate. Some of her most enjoyed hobbies were watching movies, intense games of bingo and a variety of crafting. Nellie’s personality was always “large and in charge”. She built up a large collection of friends throughout the years. She will be missed and remembered by many.

Nellie is survived by her mother, Ruth Runner of Pflugerville, Texas; sisters, Shirley Byrd of Weatherford, Texas, Dawn Carey of Pflugerville, Texas; brothers, John Byrd of Wewahitchka, Florida, Edwin Runner, Jr., of Oak Harbor, Washington, and Vernon Lee Runner of Portland, Oregon; niece, Rebecca Pyle of Weatherford, Texas; nephews, Jason Pyle of Gainesville, Texas and Bradley Pyle of Fort Worth, Texas; along with a host of other numerous relatives and friends.

She is preceded in death by her father, Rueben Byrd and wife, Lois; bonus father, Ed Runner and her grandparents.
