Service for Nickey Wayne Stepp, 61, of Cleburne will be conducted at 10:00 A.M., Friday, October 31, 2014 at Field Street Baptist Church. The Reverend John Glover will officiate. Burial will be in Greenacres Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be Nathan Stepp, Marshall Stepp, Michael Stepp, Eddie Roe, Ryan Stepp, and Tony Cunningham. Honorary pallbearers will be Dale Bailey, Gary Atchley, and Ronald Gray.
Visitation will be from 6-8:00 P.M., Thursday, at the funeral home.
Nickey Wayne Stepp passed away Tuesday, October 28, 2014 in Dallas. He was born May 16, 1953 in Cleburne to Marshall T. and Virginia Mae Burgess Stepp.
Mr. Stepp worked as a welder for Cleburne ISD. He was a member of Field Street Baptist Church.
Survivors include his mother, Virginia Stepp of Cleburne; children, Nathan Stepp and fiancé, Alena of Benbrook, Marshall Stepp and wife April, Michael Stepp and wife Ashleigh, and MaKenna Stepp, all of Cleburne; three grandchildren, Madalynn Stepp, Connor Stepp, and Michael Stepp; sister, Marsha Rynd of Fort Worth; twin brother, Rickey Stepp and wife Brenda of Cleburne; two nieces, Anna Roe and husband Eddie and Katie Cunningham and husband Tony; nephew, Ryan Stepp and wife Kayla; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his father, Marshall T. Stepp in 1970.
