Nicky Manuel

A celebration of life for Nicky Charles Manuel, 59, of Godley, will be held at a later date. Mr. Manuel passed away Thursday, December 23, 2010 in Fort Worth. He was born to George Everett and Edna Mary Floyd Manuel on November 28, 1951 in Amarillo, Texas. Nicky served in the United States Army during the Vietnam Era. He was of the Baptist faith and was a rancher. Nicky was a brutally honest man that did not mince words. You always knew where he stood on matters. He enjoyed spending time on the farm and with family and friends, as well as hunting when he could. He will be missed greatly by those who knew and loved him. He was preceded in death by his parents as well as several other family members.

Survivors include his son and daughter in law, Kevin and Debra Jeffries; daughter and son in law, Desiree Buffham Manuel and Rufino Rodriguez; "adopted son", Noy Permsookjit; grandchildren, Colton, Bryant and Emily; several siblings; host of other relatives and friends.
