Noel Brown

Service for Noel K. Brown, 84, of Granbury, formerly of Cleburne, will be conducted at 10:30 A. M. Friday, December 17, 2010 in the North Cleburne Baptist Church. The Reverend Keith Whitt and Reverend Charles E. Payne will officiate. Pallbearers will be David Howell, Cody Howell, Brannon Potts, Larry Howard, Bud Sparks and Morris Derting. Honorary pallbearers will be Brian McMullin, Curtis Curlee, Tony Worthington, James Corbin, Darrell Thomas and Jack Kelly. Burial will be in Greenacres Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 6-8 P.M., Thursday, at the funeral home.

Mr. Brown passed away Tuesday, December 14, 2010 in Granbury. He was born April 29, 1926 in Cleburne to Richard and Annie Friou Brown. He married LaVoyce Hutson on July 19, 1952 in Cleburne.

Noel served his country in the U. S. Army and was a retired licensed floral designer. He was a member of North Cleburne Baptist Church.

Noel Brown is survived bv his wife of 58 years, LaVoyce Brown of Granbury; daughters, Darla Pliler and husband Tom of Mesquite and Sherry Howell and husband Charles of Bono; five grandchildren, David Howell, Cody Howell, Mindy Potts and husband Brannon, Christi Howard and husband Larry and Gaylyne Pliler; seven great grandchildren; a number of nieces and nephews and many friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, four brothers and three sisters.
