Noma Phipps

Graveside service for Noma Thompson Phipps, 82, of Cleburne will be conducted at 10:30 A.M., Thursday, March 9, 2017 in The White Church Cemetery in Somervell County. Pastor Ethan Wagner will officiate. Visitation will be from 6-8:00 P.M., Wednesday, at the Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Funeral Home.
Noma Thompson Phipps passed away Sunday, Mar. 5, 2017 in Cleburne. She was born Aug. 30 1934 in Ft. Worth to Lee Roy and May Lackey Thompson. She married Don Phipps on April 6, 1968 and he preceded her in death on Jan. 21, 2013.
Mrs. Phipps was a homemaker and a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and a dear friend to many. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church.
Survivors include her children, Ronnie Ford of Mingus, Tionette Blakely of Eulogy, Linda Lester and husband Gary of Crowley and Donna Heller of Burleson; grandchildren, Gary Don Lester, James Ford, Brandy Ford, Johnathan Higgins, Dustin Lester, Jayme Taylor and Kansas Wagner; great grandchildren, A-Jay, Jace, Hagen, Madyson, Reid and Bryson; and several other relatives and friends who will miss her dearly. She was also preceded in death by her parents and a great grandson, Ayden Taylor.
