Nora Burton
Nora Bell (Oliver) Burton, 87, of Cleburne, passed away Wednesday, April 22, 2020 in Cleburne. She was born June 28, 1932 in Morgan to Henry and Ruthie (Pollard) Oliver. She was a member of Greater Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church.
Nora is survived by her daughter, Cynthia Akins and Donald Reeder of Rio Vista; sons, Hershel Burton of Cleburne, Gene Akins of Cleburne; sisters, Anna Booker of Crawford, Evelyn Wright of Clifton; brother, Thomas Oliver and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.
Nora is preceded in death by her parents, infant brother, Charles Oliver; sisters, Marcella McDowell in 2016, Henrietta Newman and Roystyne McDowell.
A private graveside service will be held, Tuesday, April 28, 2020 in Greenlawn Cemetery.
