Services for Notellia M. "Tillie" Holtsman, 69, of Alvarado will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, April 18, 2009 in the Greenacres Mausoleum Chapel. The Rev. Greg Davis will officiate. Burial will be in Greenacres Memorial Park. Visitation will be Friday from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
Notellia Holtsman passed away Wednesday, April 15, 2009 in Alvarado. She was born November 1, 1939 in Johnson County, TX to Rufus Franklin and Dora Dean Sorrells Doty. She married Elvin Paul Holtsman on June 12, 1959 in Godley.Mrs. Holtsman graduated from Cleburne High School in 1958 were she was in the National Honor Society. She was an assembler for Raingarie Corporation in Cleburne for many years.
Tillie Holtsman is survived by her sons, Monty Holtsman of Haltom City and Charles Holtsman of Little River Academy; grandchildren, Victoria Holtsman and Hunter Holtsman and brothers and sisters-in-law, Evelyn Doty, Travis and Anna Honea, Raymond and Katrina Holtsman and Jerry and Judy Calhan. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Elvin P. "Sambo" Holtsman on July 18, 2002 and brother, Gene Doty.
