O. Hill

Services for O. B. Hill, 95, of Rio Vista, will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, June 24, 2007 in the Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Chapel. Pastor Steve Dill will officiate. Burial will be in Rio Vista Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Mr. Hill's grandsons.

O. B. Hill passed away Friday, June 22, 2007 in Grandview. He was born November 20, 1911 in Winnsboro, Texas, to J.T. and Annie Skinner Hill. He married Mildred Geneva Browning in October 1936.

Mr. Hill was a farmer and a member of the Masonic Lodge in Blum and First United Methodist Church in Blum.


O.B. Hill is survived by his son, Jim Hill and wife Shelia of Longview, TX; daughters, Kathy Smith of Rio Vista and Jane Wilcox and husband Bonner of Joshua; sisters, Viva Bartelt and husband Wallace of Ventura, CA; sister-in-law, Betty Hill of Mt. Pleasant, TX; grandchildren, Mike Hill and wife Sherry, Scott Hill and wife Sheila, Gene Smith, Pam Masters and husband Steve, Ken Smith and wife Amanda, Steven Smith and wife Debbie, Cory Roberts, Chris Gallant and wife Tracey and Kimberly Gallant and ; fourteen great-grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mildred Geneva Hill and granddaughter, Robyn Roberts and three brother and four sisters.
