Ola McDaniel

Services for Ola Jewel McDaniel, 97, of Cleburne, will be conducted at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, February 14, 2008 at the Granbury St. Church of Christ. Mr. Kevin Rhodes will officiate. Burial will be in Rosehill Cemetery.

Ola Jewel McDaniel passed away Tuesday, February 12, 2008 in Cleburne. She was born July 16, 1910 in Azle, TX to Walter B. and Annie Cooper Martin. She married Ernest Clarence McDaniel on July 20, 1933 in Jacksboro, TX.

Mrs. McDaniel was a homemaker and a member of Granbury Street Church of Christ.

Ola McDaniel is survived by her granddaughter, Shelia White and husband, Jim of Cleburne; grandson, John McDaniel of Cleburne; daughter-in-law, Diane Rangel and husband, Simon of Cleburne; two great-granddaughters, Erica White and Kristen White both of Lubbock, TX; three sisters, Alva Lee Measell of Frederick, MD, Abigail Fritz of Silver Springs, MD and Agnes Carpenter of Bridgeport, TX and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ernest McDaniel; son, Scott McDaniel; three brothers, Ovy, Arvy and Virgil Martin and three sisters, Etta Ethridge, Elsie Groves and Faye Bishop.
