Ole Anderson

Services for Ole C. Anderson, 64, of Cleburne, will be held at Crosier Pearson Cleburne Chapel on Monday, April 5, 2010 at 10:00A.M. Chaplain Nancy Snider will officiate. Visitation will be from 6:00-8:00 P.M. Sunday at the funeral home. Interment will be at Heath Cemetery, Huron, Texas. Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Association at 101 Summit Avenue, Suite 300, Fort Worth, Texas 76102.

Ole C. Anderson was born to Helmer Melvin and Clara Alvada Bakke Anderson on December 13, 1945 in Hamilton, Texas. He passed away Wednesday, March 31, 2010 in Keene. He served in the United States Air Force during the Vietnam Era. Ole married Janet Kay Hendrix on June 17, 1967 at the Tinker Air Force Base, Oklahoma. He was of the Lutheran faith. Ole, also known as "Grandpa" to his granddaughters, was a family man with a fun loving spirit. He was a calm man, often referred to as a workaholic. Ole will be greatly missed by all those that knew and loved him. He was preceded in death by his parents; and siblings, Curtis Anderson, Helen Cox and Wendell Anderson.

Survivors include his wife of 43 years, Janet Anderson; sons and daughters in law, David Carl and Jannie Anderson, John Michael Anderson, Andrew Steven and Cathy Anderson; two granddaughters, Susan and Sherry; brothers, Orville Anderson and A.C. Anderson; sister, Doris Hallmark; and a host of other relatives and friends.
