Mrs. Oskins passed away Monday, December 9, 2013 in Cleburne. She was born March 11, 1926 in Clayton, Oklahoma to Floyd and Mattie Mae Johnson Bishop. She was of Christian faith and was a homemaker. She enjoyed spending time in her yard, especially working with her roses. She adored her children and grandchildren. Opal was a gifted cook. Her yeast rolls and breads were always a favorite. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; sons, James, Danny Jay, and Charles Lee McGriff; and siblings, L.B., L.D. and Ida Mae Bishop, and Chawk Crandall.
Survivors include her daughter, Kaye Pendley; 9 grandchildren; 1 great grandchild; brother, Floyd Bishop; numerous nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.
