Ora Nell Hancock

Service for Ora Nell Hancock, 76, of Covington will be conducted at 10:30 A.M., Wednesday, Jan. 6, 2016 in the Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Chapel. Mr. Bill Wheatley will officiate. Burial will be in Derden Cemetery in Hill County. Visitation will be from 6-8:00 P.M., Tuesday, at the funeral home.

Ora Nell Hancock passed away Saturday, Jan. 2, 2016 in Cleburne. She was born Oct. 30, 1939 in Hico to Dave and Ora Bullard Brunson. She married Larry Hancock on June 1, 1958 in Weatherford.
Mrs. Hancock was a school teacher with Covington ISD, retiring with 30 years of service. She was a member of the Church of Christ.

Survivors include her husband of 58 years, Larry Hancock of Covington; son, Clint Hancock of Austin; daughter, Lora McFarland and husband Mitch of Covington; grandchildren, Eric McFarland, Ty McFarland, and Rachael McFarland; brothers, David Brunson, Darwin Brunson, Melvin Brunson, and Gary Brunson; sister, Molly Hestilow; and a number of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents.
