Orlan Brawner

Graveside service for Orlan Eugene Brawner, 87, of Alvarado, will be conducted at 2:00 P.M. Monday, February 01, 2021, in the Rosehill Cemetery. Pastor Jeramey Keith will officiate. Visitation will be Sunday from 5:00 – 7:00 P.M. at the funeral home.

Orlan Eugene Brawner passed away Monday, January 25, 2021 in Cleburne. He was born June 16, 1933 in Rio Vista to Oscar and Maudie Mae (Durham) Brawner. He married Carolyn Sue Browder on July 19, 1951.

Mr. Brawner served in the US Army and was a meat packer for Swift and Co for many years.

Orlan is survived by his son, Jerry Brawner and wife, Debbie of Cleburne; daughter-in-law, Lina Brawner of Burleson; grandchildren Shayne, Ricky and Jesse Brawner; great-grandchildren, Gavin, Julee, Emerie and Nolan Brawner; sister, Wanda Jones and husband, Bob of Joshua; several nieces, nephews and other family and friends. He was preceded it death by his parents; wife, Carolyn Sue on February 15, 2009; son, Mike Brawner and daughter, Kathy Sue Brawner.
