Graveside service for Otice Cleveland Boyle, 75, of Grandview will be conducted at 1:00 P.M., Tuesday, June 13, 2017 in the Meridian Cemetery in Meridian. The Reverend Billy Sutton will officiate. No set visitation is scheduled.
Otice Cleveland Boyle passed away Thursday, June 8, 2017 in Grandview. He was born Dec. 11, 1941 in Coleman to Yoakum Cleveland and Rennie Mae Hampton Boyle. He married Dora Drue Neystel on Feb. 26, 1979 in Durant, OK.
Mr. Boyle served in the United States Army and then worked as an inspector for the Texas Highway Department until retirement. He loved music and was gifted by God to be a great musician. He learned to play by ear and loved playing the steel guitar. Otice was a wonderful husband and father with countless friends.
Survivors include his beloved wife of 38 years, Dora Boyle Grandview; children, Johnny Cleveland Boyle and Rhonda Bush and husband Franky of Rio Vista; grandchildren, Bo Bush and fiancée Rachel Upchurch, Trey Bush and fiancee Mari Alvarez, and Brittany Imbler and husband Jason of Indiana; sister, Shirley Sutton and husband Royce of Abilene, mother-in-law, Drusilla Howell of Cleburne; brother-in-law, Ole Neystel of Cleburne; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and three sisters.
