Services for Otto McKee (Skipper) Warenskjold III, 47, of Cleburne, will be conducted at 3:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 5, 2008 in the Westhill Church of Christ, Cleburne, TX. Mr. B.B. Stevens will officiate. Burial will be in Cleburne Memorial Cemetery.
Otto McKee (Skipper) Warenskjold III went to be with his Lord on Sunday afternoon, 2 March 2008 at the hospital in Fort Worth, Texas. He was born 28 June 1960 at DeWitt Army Hospital, Ft. Belvoir, Fairfax County, Virginia. He was raised in a military family which allowed him to attend school in Virginia, Hawaii, West Germany and Texas, and was a graduate of Cleburne, Texas. He has worked for several different businesses in the Cleburne area, but as of late unemployed. He was a member of the Westhill Church of Christ and was involved in the Benelovence Ministry of Westhill Church, called the BRIDGE, also other church projects. He was seen around town with the family dogs, Princess and Sammie, in his pick-up or walking them. He was well liked by everyone and was willing to help others. Pallbearers will be Scott Allison, Jimmie Trammell, Phillip Lewis, Randall Rice, Christian, Johnthan Gentry, Charles Head and Wayne Birchfield. Honorary pallbearers will be Jim Easdon, Bob Hays, Bill Southerland, Larry Davis and Cotten Pemberton.
He is survived by his parents, Otto M and Vicki A. Warenskjold, Jr. of Cleburne; brother, Anthony (Tony) L. Warenskjold and wife, Denice of Alvarado; sister, Lou Ann Potter and husband, Patrick and Christy L. Warenskjold of Cleburne; uncles, Donald Coursey of Waxahachie and Billy Dan Warenskjold and wife, Heidi of Cleburne; aunts, Sue Ann Trammell and husband, Jimmie, Shirley Gardner of Bedford; nieces, Stephenie and Heather Potter of Cleburne and many cousins. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Louie C. and Anita L. Gardner and Otto M. and Clarice Warenskjold, Sr.; uncles, Edward D. Hamlin, Melvin L. Daniels, Herman Beck and Morris L. (Sonny) Gardner and aunts, Vallie Will Hamlin, Mary Alice Coursey and Ruby Daniels.
