Patricia Collins

Graveside service for Patricia Ann (Applegate) Collins, 85, of Covington will be conducted at 11:00 A.M., Monday, December 28, 2020 in Covington Cemetery. Visitation will be 10:00 A.M. Monday, December 28, 2020 at the graveside prior to service. Those wishing to pay respects and sign the book may also do so Sunday December 27, 2020 at the funeral home.

Patricia Ann Collins passed away Thursday, December 24, 2020 in Cleburne. She was born September 12, 1935 in Blanton, Texas to Archie and Bertie (Hendrix) Applegate.

She married Isam Collins in May 1965. He preceded her in death in 1989. Patricia was a member of The Church of Christ. She enjoyed spending time with her family, western movies, road trips and she loved Elvis. Patricia will always be remembered as being “sweet with a little salt”.


Patricia is survived by her daughters, Janet and Harold Johnson of Covington, Janette and David Johnson of Covington; Kimberley Jo Graig and Toi McNeel of Cleburne; Marsha and Troy Bourquin of Cleburne; sons, Jim and Kim Graig of Itasca, Jess Wesley and Heather Collins of Bandera; grandchildren, Randall and Mandy Johnson, Shane Johnson, Alisha and Dustin O’Bannon, Melanie and Jason Vandevender, Malisa Grisham, Geremy and Tanner Graig, Teri and Jason Baxter, Cheyanne and Bella Collins; 16 great-grandchildren; sister-in-law Jane Applegate Cathey of Covington and a host of relatives and friends

Patricia is preceded in death by her parents, brothers, JM, Bo, Roy and twin brother Bobby Dan Applegate; and 2 great-grandchildren.
