Patsy Dollar

Service for Patsy Shelton Dollar, 85, of Rio Vista will be conducted at 2:00 P.M. Friday, Sept. 1, 2017 in the Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Chapel. Burial will follow in Grange Hall Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Dustin Dollar, Clint Dollar, Wesley Burch, Curtis Miller, Mark Smith and Burl Shelton. Visitation will be from 6-8:00 P.M., Thursday, at the funeral home.
Patsy Shelton Dollar passed away Tuesday, Aug. 29, 2017 in Keene. She was born Jan. 9, 1932 in Hillsboro to Johnny Cecil and Mary Alice Cowan Shelton. She married Johnny Bernice Dollar on Oct. 20, 1951 in Johnson County and he preceded her in death in 2002.
Mrs. Dollar was a nurse's aide and a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and a dear friend to many. She was a member of both the Rio Vista and Blum Eastern Star and the First Baptist Church in Rio Vista.
Survivors include her son, Cecil B. Dollar and wife Susan of Rio Vista; daughter, Doris Miller and husband Paul of Blum; grandchildren, Paula Miller, Dustin Dollar and wife Holly, and Clint Dollar and wife Lyndsay; great grandchildren, Kaitlyn Dollar, Austin Dollar, and Logan Dollar; one sister, Frances Burch of Rio Vista; numerous nieces and nephews; other relatives and friends. She was also preceded in death by her parents and grandson, Paul David Miller.
