Patsy McDaniel

Service for Patsy McDaniel, 88, of Cleburne, will be conducted at 2:00 P.M., Monday, March 27, 2023 in the Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Chapel. Reverend Charles Payne and Chaplain Eddy Carrell will officiate. Burial will follow in Grange Hall Cemetery. Visitation will be 4:00-6:00 P.M., Sunday, March 26, 2023 at the funeral home.

Patsy passed away Monday, March 20, 2023 in Cleburne. She was born July 19, 1934 in Covington to Virgil and Virgie Odell (Majors) Stout. Patsy married John “J.T.” McDaniel on March 26, 1954 in Fort Worth. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Cleburne. Patsy worked for Lockheed Martin for more than sixteen years and Cleburne ISD for more than seven years. She was an amazing lady, Christian and caretaker. Patsy was a part of the Golden Agers at Church. She had a very giving nature and was very talented at sewing and quilting. She made clothes for her kids throughout her lifetime. Children were known to bring her great joy. She will be greatly missed.

She is survived by her children, Lana Roach-Neil and husband, George, Carol Patton and husband, Michael; daughter-in-law, Rhonda McDaniel; 9 grandchildren; 18 great- grandchildren; 6 great-great-grandchildren; brother, Bertie L. Stout; sister, Betty Morrison; numerous nieces, nephews, and a host of other relatives and friends.

Patsy was preceded in death by her mother, Virgie Odell Stout Sifford and stepfather, Bud Sifford; father, Virgil Stout; husband, J.T. McDaniel; son, Tim McDaniel; and daughter, Vicki Smalley.
