Service for Patti Rae Whitt Hight, 84, of Cleburne will be conducted at 2:00 P.M., Thursday, Jan. 14, 2016 in the Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Chapel. David Thomas will officiate. Burial will be in Rosehill Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Stevie Hight, Charley Hight, B.J. Hight, Lane Brookshire, Matthew Hight, Luke Brookshire, Richie Whitt, and Roger Whitt. Visitation will be from 6-8:00 P.M., Wednesday, at the funeral home.
Patti Rae Whitt Hight passed away Saturday, January 9, 2016 in Ft. Worth. She was born Sept. 5, 1931 in Cleburne to Porter Young “Dickie” and Hazel Rogers Whitt. She married Curtis Hight on Oct. 4, 1951 in Johnson County.
Mrs. Hight worked for over 40 years as a legal secretary with the majority of those being for Willard Baker, retiring in 1995. She lived in the Cleburne area all her life. She loved spending time with family and friends and sat with many people during their illness. She especially loved babysitting grandchildren and great grandchildren. Patti was of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include her children, Johnny and Judy Hight and Mike and Linda Hight; four grandchildren, Amy Brookshire and husband Brian of Crawford, Stevie Hight and wife Jessica , Charley Hight, and B.J. Hight, all of Cleburne; six great grandchildren, Lane, Leslie, Matthew, Madison, Luke and Jayci; and brother, Jackie Whitt of Rio Vista. She was preceded in death by her parents; and husband, Curtis Hight on Aug. 30, 1967.
