Services for Paul B. "Pill" Fraser, 82, of Dundee, will be conducted at 2:00 P.M. Sunday, June 6, 2010 in the New Hope Baptist Church, Cleburne. Burial will follow in the Baker-Lain Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 6-8 P.M. Saturday at the funeral home.

Paul B. "Pill" Fraser passed away Thursday, June 3, 2010 in Wichita Falls. He was born September 23, 1927 in Wichita Falls to Herman Houston and Zula Mae Wilmuth Fraser.

He was a 1946 graduate of Holliday High School in Holliday, Texas. He had been a cowboy throughout his life and had worked for such ranches as the Matador Ranch in Matador, the Waggoner Ranch, and the John King Ranch in Johnson County.

Paul married Ruby Jo Ruddell in 1950 and in 1973 they purchased their own ranch near Cleburne known as the Rafter F Ranch. Ruby passed away January 16, 2003. After her death, he sold the Rafter F. On August 31, 2005, he married Robbie Miller Slinkard in Ruidosa, New Mexico and in March, 2006 they moved to Dundee, where he resided until his death.

Throughout his years as a cowboy, he was a member of the American Quarter Horse Association and the American Paint Horse Association where he served for many years as a judge for both organizations. In 2007, he received the Legacy Award from the AQHA for raising and registering American Quarter Horses for fifty consecutive years. He was a founding member and judge for the American Cutting Horse Association and a member of the NCHA. He was an avid roper and his wife and sons continue his legacy of working and training horses to this day.

Survivors include his wife Robbie of Dundee; three sons, Paul Dean Fraser and wife Becky of Whitney; Chuck Fraser of Tolar and Duane Fraser of Dundee; one sister, Sue Dinges of Orlando, Florida, four grandchildren, Cassie, Casey, Will and Matt and numerous great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by one brother, Herman Houston Fraser, Jr.
